Process and Production
Behind the Screams is a visual archive that opens the working interior of Sekdek, revealing a living field of studio activity where images, materials, and characters take form through layered experimentation. The book gathers a wide range of moments—costumes in mid-assembly, pigment spreading across surfaces, improvised sets, tools in use, and staged figures held in saturated color. Each page carries the energy of process, where texture, gesture, and composition unfold in real time.
The collection moves through b-side scenes and exploratory builds, presenting the craft as it exists in motion. Paint accumulates, fabrics shift, light defines shape, and the human figure becomes a vessel for color and transformation. The work expresses a tactile, hands-on language where materials respond directly to intention, forming a dense and expressive visual environment.
Behind the Screams stands as a document of creation in action, a book where process, experimentation, and image-making exist as a continuous and vivid practice.
