Follow characters as they mumble their way through life's developments in Sekdek.Balderdash.
This 8 episode debut season showcases them pontificating on the lameness of Halloween.
Actor angrily silently recites Auld Lang Syne's lyrics while desolate ambiance persists. The track is from an upcoming Sekdek album called Gail Satan. The content's correlation to the current global crisis is purely coincidental. Originally, the video was meant to convey a personal apocalypse and the consequential futility in pursuing art in 2020. I guess...Two birds. One stone.

I made this when I used to drink a lot of the stuff. Roughly a 12 pack a day. A poorly produced commercial here but the concept is good and I like the looped visuals and the Napalm Death soundtrack. I made this out of pure love of the stuff and for no money. I did write Miller and send them a copy of this as a joke just to see what they would say. They replied with a thank you note written on nice card stock paper and with a gold embossed Miller logo at the top legitimizing things. They also gave me a small box of some Milwaukee's Best Light visors and some Milwaukee's Best Light women's baby Ts. At least someone there had a sense of humor and enough time to respond to my appreciation, write a letter & fill a box with some shwag. Or some dude was just fuckin' with me? Either way...win.
Happy New Year 2017 people of earth and beyond. American guy (me) acts as Scottish actor while singing Auld Lang Syne. Recorded at Bubblegore Productions.
In college, at Madison, my girlfriend and I planned a crazy nude streak down the main street of the University. So dumb but fun and in the context of the times, an innocent, well-received, Onion/National Lampoon type practical joke on society. It just so happened that it was also the Police Chief's last night on the job and he was talking about his Madison experience to the cameras as we rode by. This could not have been more serendipitous for him as we rode by in accidental honor of this great dude who'd seen it all. He seemed well respected in the community and this was his sendoff press release thing.
The humor of it de-escalated after one of our friends shirt that was wrapped around her neck, got stuck in the tire and she flew off the bike and got knocked out. Not so funny. There she lay naked and sprawled out in the middle of the street. We scrambled back to help her. By the time we got back, the Police Chief was already on it and had called an Ambulance. Feeling the shame of our shenanigans gone wrong we shuffled off to the side of the street and tried to hide the fact that we were all half-naked and indeed the guilty party of dirty streakers caught in the act. Wasn't so funny then until this video surfaced later that week and Kristen was the star attraction shown crying on camera for her fallen comrade. Her first public dramatic acting appearance. The video was lost for 17 years until now. Donna, the girl who fell...found it online and just sent it to Kristen who just sent it to me and now here it is for you.

Classic also that Cosmo made the final cut. Cosmo was a local charismatic character and experimental musician in Madison until his recent passing. This clip is dedicated to him and all his awesome weirdness.

"BLISS" is the second Elettrodomestico video directed by Brice Frillici (SekDek). The song is an angular and robotic-sounding track and the band credit Gary Numan and Devo as inspiration. The lyrics examine the age-old human desire to change exterior surroundings in the eternal search for interior happiness. Director Brice has created a simple but bizarre short black and white film that is oddly mesmerizing. Jane & Pietro's faces are layered on top of each other, creating a third persona that is both creepy and hypnotic. As eyes open and close, the view alternately changes from blue to brown and back again. The visual austerity of this video is the perfect accompaniment to this sparse unforgiving track. "RABBIT STEW" was the first song written, and the second video by Elettrodomestico (Jane Wiedlin and Pietro Straccia). It was shot, directed and edited by pop/gore artist Brice Frillici (SekDek) at his BubbleGore art studio in Oakland CA. The video explores themes of marriage, conflict, gender-bending and rebirth. Quirky, funny and dark all at once, the short film depicts Jane (as the groom) & Pietro (as the bride) as wedding toppers on a wedding cake. Shortly thereafter, Jane & Pietro "come alive" and feed each other cake. This action rapidly devolves into a very raucous and messy cake fight. In the background, the Super-8 footage from Pietro's parents' actual wedding plays on, with the wedding party feasting and drinking wine in typical Italian fashion.

HEAVEN IS A PLACE THAT WAS - Pietro Straccia
In your head there's a war Heaven is a place that was Before hell got in touch with us I get the sense that I always have to fall Between good and evil Oh the mind thinking Things I never thought I thought Fighting wars not meant be fought Oh the mind IN YOUR HEAD THERE'S A WAR Give it all you can and leave the rest to god It’s in the hands of the unknown In your head there’s a war ready to explode Heaven is a place that was Between the statues the horizons And the sun. Edges of the mind Paints pictures that I never saw Some good some evil Oh the mind playing These tricks are getting awfully old I think I said more than I wanted told it’s not what you say but how. how? It will never end, It’s just getting close Treasure what you have and open up the doors It will never end, It’s just getting old. Treasure what you have and open up the doors HEAVEN IS A PLACE THAT WAS IN YOUR HEAD THERE'S A WAR HEAVEN IS A PLACE THAT WAS IN YOUR HEAD THERE'S A WAR HEAVEN IS A PLACE THAT WAS IN YOUR HEAD THERE'S A WAR
